Client service charter
How much you may choose to invest isn’t important to us – what is important is how happy you are with the quality of service, commitment and respect I show you through the process and beyond.
So we’re committed to giving you financial advice and support for the long-term, through longstanding relationships based on trust and empathy. I do this through personal, face-to-face financial advice.
And we’ll always be open and honest in all of our dealings with you; so, we’ll explain our charges, your statutory rights, any protections that apply and confirm all of our advice in writing.
Our service includes:
I will keep in touch with you regularly. This means that you’re kept fully informed of how your money is being managed and up to date with any market changes, particularly ones that might affect you directly. I will agree with you at the outset what you can expect and when.
Review Meetings
Face-to-face review meetings as often as you need
Accessible Support
Being contactable by phone between our regular reviews, if you have a question or a concern, or your circumstances change
Timely Updates
Keeping you well-informed and up to date with any financial matters that may be of direct relevance or interest to you personally
Clear Communication
Making our own information and communication as clear and simple as I can
Financial Guidance
Offering clarity and guidance in all aspects of your financial wellbeing.
When I meet you to review your personal finances, I will:
- Take as much time as I both need to fully understand your current financial situation and your personal goals
- Fully review your life goals and adapt your financial plan to help achieve them
- Rebalance your investment portfolio and fund choices if I need to
- Help you make the most of your annual tax allowances
- Keep you up to date with legislation and Budget changes
- Help you to review what level of investment risk you feel comfortable with as your priorities and life goals change over time – and make sure your investments reflect that.
- The value of an investment with St. James's Place will be directly linked to the performance of the funds selected and may fall as well as rise. You may get back less than the amount invested.
Working together, I aim to make sure that you:
- Have a clear understanding of your personal and financial objectives
- Have a plan in place that matches your personal values and goals, and the level of risk you feel comfortable with
- Have a proactive process in place to review your financial plans and help make sure they meet your needs at every stage of your life.
